Abigail is a devoted Christian as well as a rule of law and sustainable development professional with experience in strengthening state and non-state institutions including government ministries, the judiciary, universities, independent commissions and civil society organizations. Her current work is focusing on providing technical assistance in the development of inclusive laws and policies that guarantee social and economic development as well as social protection.

She is passionate about addressing the multiple and intersecting challenges different groups of people face including women and girls, children, young people, people living with HIV, persons with disabilities, refugees, immigrants and other minority and marginalized groups.

She has experience with several United Nations Specialized Agencies and Offices including the World Bank, Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNAIDS, ILO, and UN Women. I have also worked with regional and international development institutions and agencies including the Southern African Development Community, African Union, African Commission, International Commission of Jurists, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and European Union (EU).

Abbey is a Global Shapers Community Harare Hub Alumni and former Policy and Advocacy Lead. Global Shapers Harare Hub is part of the Global Shapers Community, Global Shapers is an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

Her professional interests lie in inclusion, entrepreneurship, community engagement, community organizing and developing equitable, people centered innovative solutions that address challenges people face today.
