Abigail is the founder of Close A Gap Foundation, a community-driven initiative committed to bridging the gap between vulnerable children and access to essential opportunities.
Many children’s homes operate within difficult social and economic conditions and lack basic necessities that are essential for healthy development. These gaps—while preventable—directly affect children’s comfort, health, confidence, and future prospects.
Close A Gap Foundation exists to ensure that no child is left behind because of preventable gaps in basic care.
With the support of a dedicated “Big Donor Group” and community partners, Close A Gap Foundation gathers and distributes resources directly to children’s homes.
Close A Gap Foundation works to address these needs through coordinated giving and community support. It supports children aged 0–18 years living in children’s homes and orphanages, particularly in and around Harare, Zimbabwe.
Giving is not only about charity—it is about restoring dignity, expanding opportunity, and building bridges between communities and children who need support.

The harsh social and economic situation in Zimbabwe is not addressing the need of children who live in orphanages have. With the support of our "Big Donor Group" we are gathering everyday resources that children in orphanages need. In the past four years we have been working to close a few gaps through gathering a few resources for different children's' homes in and around Harare.
